Components

Querying files or ‘blobs’ in Azure is extremely straightforward but there are a few components required to facilitate it. You simple need:

• Storage Account
• SAS Token
• Container Name

Storage Account

• Navigate to https://portal.azure.com/#home
• Search for Storage Accounts
• Select Storage Account Name

Container Name

• From the Storage Account Name, select:
  • Containers
  • Select Container Name
• Storage accounts

SAS Token

• From within the Container, select:
  • Settings
    • Shared access tokens
  • Configure various parameters, generally:
    • Permissions
    • Expiry
    • Allowed IP addresses
• Shared access tokens
